Dzata Cement Marks 5th Anniversary

Ghanaian-owned cement manufacturing company Dzata Cement has marked its fifth anniversary, celebrating five years of operations since its establishment on October 6, 2021.

The company commemorated the milestone on Tuesday October 6, 2026 with a celebration that brought together management, employees, distributors and other stakeholders who have contributed to its growth over the past five years.

Speaking at the anniversary event Managing Director of Dzata Cement Nafisa Mahama reflected on the company’s journey and reaffirmed its vision for the years ahead. She also expressed appreciation to the company’s workers, distributors and customers for their continued commitment and support.

Nafisa Mahama also used the occasion to recognise her father businessman and Philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama whom she described as the company’s biggest shareholder. 

Ibrahim Mahama was present at the celebration and shared his thoughts on business succession and the importance of building enterprises that can be passed on to younger generations.

His remarks highlighted the role of fathers and business founders in preparing the next generation to take responsibility and continue the legacy of businesses they have built.

The fifth anniversary celebration is expected to continue with a series of activities scheduled to take place between now and the end of the year, providing further opportunities for Dzata Cement to engage its stakeholders and celebrate the milestone.

The anniversary marks an important chapter in Dzata Cement’s journey as the company looks ahead to its next phase of growth and expansion.
